•Randon is a fifteen-year-old boy who lives in the slum of Kawangware. He lives with his mother who is a widow in a single room sheet metal house. He is the youngest three children.

•In 2011, he unexpectantly lost his father after he consumed poisoned alcohol at his local bar. He died on his way to hospital. His father was the sole breadwinner in the family.

•Life took a different turn after the family lost their breadwinner. The two elder boys had to move to the village while Randon had to stay with his mother in the slum since he was very young.

•The family faces quite a number of challenges but the main one is school fee at the moment. Randon did quite well in his exam but he has no support to further his education. Science is his favorite subject and he also loves playing soccer during his free time.

•Giving him a chance to be in school will actualize his dream of having a better future.
